Within LIMOWA network, we have been deeply involved in discussion concerning trends and the future of logistics both in intralogistics/material handling and on transportation – the whole chain – while focusing on its nodal points.
There exist several good radars, foresights etc. what is happening there in the market place, particularly what kind of new techs could be available. We have thougt, that industry needs also a ”transformation matrix” which may help to understand WHY something is happen, maybe when, what kind of impacts it could have and HOW to react/operate in such an environment. Our Logistics Transformation Matrix is not ready yet, but we are happy to invite stakeholders to give their inputs ans insights to develop it further to really have an impact. The very first version of that was introduced there in Tampere Logistics Fair 9.-10.9.2026 through ChatGPT generated draft.
LIMOWA is keen to put stakeholders together to collaborate and create value in logistics. We are operating nationwide, participating European projects and networks, and believe that there could be an opportunity to enhance them by having even better collaboration and pilots with our close neighbors; even those transportation chains are always international and multimodal, and pilots here could be low-hanging fruits while simultaneosly taking into account performance of transportation system up to well-being of the whole society.
